We are extremely pleased to have begun our partnership with Progressive Kids from January 2024 in providing what we hope will become a successful wrap-around care programme here at St Peter's CofE Primary Academy.

All of the children from Reception up to Year 6 now have a choice of taking part in after-school sports clubs every day of the week from 3:20p.m. to 4:30p.m. The after-school clubs not only provide a fantastic opportunity for your child to develop new skills and interests, but also promote a healthy and active lifestyle in a safe and supportive environment.

Alongside this, Progressive Kids will also be operating a wrap around care service with a breakfast club (7:40 - 8:40 a.m.) and after-school provision (3:20 - 5:30p.m.) There are always 2 coaches after school which means that even if your child doesn't want to attend the after school sport's club, the provision is still there for your child to attend the wrap around care service. This is known as PS Kids and includes a range of activities from arts and crafts, a variety of sports such as table tennis and toys such as train sets for our younger children to enjoy.

Hi, my name is Mr Ingham and I am delighted to be able to come and join the St Peter's      team and help provide high quality after-school provision including wrap-around care. It has been a pleasure to get to know the children on the playground during lunchtimes and I have been especially pleased to see the numbers of children attending our after-school clubs grow in only a short period of time. I would love to see even more children attending breakfast clubs and after-school clubs.
